Weaving the Story of the Space

Artwork can be found throughout the interior of Casa CABaN HAYAMA.
From the entrance to the lounge, through the corridors, guest rooms, and restaurant, various artworks connect spaces, weaving together a larger narrative.
Most of the works are by Patricia Urquiola and are created in a rich palette of materials, such as tapestries, rugs, metal prints, and terracotta.
In harmony with the interior design and furniture, each piece imbues its surroundings with a unique character.

Expressing a Utopia

"Artworks are not mere decorations," says Patricia. "True to the CABaN brand, which draws inspiration from nature for its collections, the designs feature motifs of plants such as fruits and flowers, as well as textiles. We gave form to images inspired by places like Hayama, the Mediterranean, and Costa Rica, creating a borderless utopia"

She continues, "By treating the hotel as a vast canvas, I believe we have created a world that embraces its guests gently. When you step inside the hotel, it is sure to become a place of happiness just for you."

For Patricia Urquiola, the artworks may well be the finishing touch to the hotel as a complete work of art.
